Jesus Christ said to the Jews: “What have I not done for you, you ungrateful people! But there will come a day when you will seek me, and you will not find me, because I will flee, and you will die in your sins.” God offers us every means of conversion from sin, but we must desire to be converted. We must pray for conversion each day. We must pray that we amend our lives.
Those who choose to remain in sin play a dangerous game. The death of a sinner is certainly fearful, yet many choose to die that death! We must respond to God’s call now while we are able, otherwise we could very well perish in our sin. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation!
