Cañizares, Prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of the Sacraments (previously headed by Francis Cardinal
Arinze, has been taken to the hospital with
thrombophlebitis.
Thrombophlebitis is vein inflammation coupled with a blod clot and often is present when cancer is. His Eminence is hospitalized in Rome and is in need of prayers and sacrifices to get him back on the job!
Cardinal Canizares recently
- offered a Solemn Pontifical Extraordinary Form Mass in St. John Lateran's Archbasilica
- advocated kneeling to receive Holy Communion
- ordained priests for a society that offers the Extraordinary Form Mass
- called for reforms to the Ordinary Form
Clearly we need this man in good health and on the front lines!
